Reaffirmation of Life
I went to lunch today and had an introspective thought. On the other side of the restaraunt was a group of new parents. The conversation was consumed by everything baby; who's eating what now and what food they plan on trying next and everyone's planning the ginormous birthday party extravaganza!
Now, let me interject here that I do not dislike children. I just think it takes very special people to bring a life into this world and to raise it; I'm not one of those people. I reminded myself of this today; especially when they went to leave and they each walked out with their huge stoller and a minimum of two large diaper bag/backpacks each.
So basically I realized that I'm not ready to be a parent (by a long shot) but I admire anyone who is.
